DAVIDSON, N.C. – In a strategic move that reinforces its long-standing partnership with the U.S. Navy, Curtiss-Wright Corporation has announced the acquisition of contracts exceeding $130 million.

These contracts are for the provision of advanced technological components for key naval vessels, namely the Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, Columbia-class submarine, and Ford-class aircraft carrier.

The significant contracts, awarded by Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI), are set to support not only ship construction but also the procurement of spare parts and submarine back-fits.

These contracts represent a continuation of Curtiss-Wright’s enduring support for the U.S. Navy’s critical defense platforms, which consistently enjoy robust Congressional backing.
